For our latest campaign we took to the romantic ruins of Rome, where between shoots we got to explore some of the well (and lesser) known hot spots. Here’s a roundup of our favourites.
For a great ice cream experience head to Giolotti, where you can sit inside with the pink-hued plush interior, or get an ice cream to go and meander down to the Trevi fountain which is less than ten minutes' walk away. |

For vintage shopping try the Monti area, after visiting the Colosseum you can catch a beautiful sunset as you stroll around the art galleries and independent shops. |

Go for granita at Bar San Calisto in Trastevere, we’d recommend the coffee granita with cream. Whilst in the area, Twice Vintage is around the corner and worth checking out - if you’re in Trastevere on a Sunday, you should make time for Porta Portese, the Sunday flea market. |
Around the corner from the Pantheon is Osteria Del Sostegno, try the pasta - especially the truffle pasta. From here, go to Sant’austacio for coffee. |
Book tickets to see the beautiful rooms of Galleria Borghese, or walk around the landscaped surrounds for free. Afterwards, you'll need aperitivo, we loved it at Ciampini with their outdoor heaters to keep you warm whilst people watching. |
Mordi & Vai in Testaccio market is worth the trip for their sandwiches, we all had the house special (l’allesso di scottona). Testaccio is an artistic neighbourhood, so you can walk off your sandwich among original street art and exhibitions. |
There is a daily food market at Campo Di Fiori, it sells the best herbs and spices for some authentic cooking when you’re back home but dreaming of Rome. |
