Founded by Charlotte Macke, Coupure is fast becoming a go-to independent brand for signature silk pieces. We love how Coupure makes luxurious but fun pieces with injections of colour paired together in an unexpected way.
With sustainability at its core, each garment is carefully considered for the impact on the environment, using deadstock silk fabrics otherwise destined for landfill.

Biggest influences or people that motivate you?
The kind who work hard but know how to unwind. Those who stick to their word. People who want to make a difference, however small it might be.
Describe your own style.
A mix of 90s and 70s classic high quality pieces usually sourced from vintage stores, vinted or sample sales. I get such a high when I find a second hand item that I love.
Favourite Coupure piece at the moment?
The new red and hot pink bralette or the silk pyjamas bottoms which can be worn just as casual trousers.
What does jewellery mean to you?
It's a really easy way to look like you have made an effort and to make you feel good about yourself.
Go-to pieces of jewellery that you wear every day?
Small chunky gold hoops.
How do you make time for you - any self-care or daily rituals?
I have a 10 mins stretching practise in the morning and make a lemon and parsley juice ritually.
I've been fortunate to have been able to buy a house in Margate this year so once the work is done, I am just looking forward to lounging in my garden.
Learning to drive, buying a camper van and going surfing.
Within a couple of months of launching I sold Coupure in America and Japan, I'm excited to see which country next.
