We are looking for a charismatic, dynamic, organised and commercially aware Store Manager. You will be part of our continued growth and manage our first ever store location at Box Park Shoreditch.
We want someone to develop with us, this is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to make their mark on our first ever IRL store. We need someone self-motivated with good initiative, who gets the brand and genuinely cares about creating success and positive results.
In your role, you will be responsible for maximising the performance of the store, boosting sales and will be responsible for all elements of store management. You will ensure the customer experience is flawless from start to finish, and that every aspect of the store runs smoothly.
We want our store manager to have a great opportunity to develop their full potential with us. We want to give them the freedom to try out new solutions to drive sales and enhance customer experience. We see this role being a bit different from other Store Manager jobs as we are a small store, so extensive people management won't be needed. However we want this person to help develop and grow the retail arm of Seol + Gold. This is a great opportunity to make your mark and develop your retail skills.
Now here’s what we’re looking for:
You love interacting with customers. The joy of helping a customer find the perfect product is important and you understand that. You have great social skills and understand what makes an excellent customer experience.
You have experience in all facets of running a store, covering merchandising, stock management, staff training, reporting, POS systems.
Consistently achieve sales targets and KPI’s
You will work closely with Brand Managers and Head Of Marketing on new ideas and initiatives to evolve the retail experience for the customer; drive sales and provide a unique store experience.
Working closely with our warehouse and head office teams to make sure the store is stocked and looking fantastic from a merchandise POV at all times.
Visual and creative, we want the shop to reflect the brand and would love you to have an input with ideas and initiative.
Self-motivated - As this role asks for you to work independently and requires you to mainly work alone in store
You will be responsible for managing the Sales Assistants
You have a genuine interest in jewellery, you get the brand and want to reflect it in-store ,whether it is developing ways to improve the customer journey, business strategies or improving the shop.
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Organised with great time management skills.
Flexible on days, this is a full time position of 5 or 6 days per week, including weekends and evenings.
At least 2-3 year experience in retail, ideally in a managerial role.
Established in 2016, Seol + Gold has grown online as a go-to brand for fine but affordable jewellery. After a successful pop-up store opening we are now opening our very first permanent store.
We love jewellery, we think of it as an extension of who we are so know how important it is to create pieces for everyday wear but that will last – that’s why we only use Sterling Silver, 18ct Gold Vermeil or 9ct Gold.
